Rachel Hald, LMSW, CSW-Intern
Rachel Hald, LMSW, CSW-intern, earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has lived in Reno for the majority of her life and is honored to be giving back to the Northern Nevada community.
Rachel strives to create a safe and healing therapeutic environment in which her clients can be their authentic selves without fear of judgment. She is passionate about incorporating a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on the importance of one’s emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being. She recognizes that the environment and systems with which we interact play a significant role in our health.
Rachel aims to facilitate personal development for each of her clients through identifying their unique strengths and guiding clients on utilizing these strengths to overcome obstacles and cope with life transitions. She believes in the importance of a therapeutic partnership based in compassion, respect, and honesty.
She has several years of experience working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, anxiety and depression. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Rachel recognizes that each client is unique, and takes this into account when creating a personalized treatment plan while incorporating evidence-based practices.
